I am now officially The Coolest Mom Ever! I bought a giant movie poster of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and am getting ready to frame it and hang it in the hallway going upstairs. Even Joey agreed this poster is “pretty decent.” Actually, there is a part of me that would still love to decorate my entire living room with nothing but great movie posters, and of course the carpet would be red, and there would probably be thick velvet curtains on the windows to totally block out the light so the living room would feel exactly like a MOVIE THEATRE. Hey, maybe someday I’ll do that!

Even I think Captain Jack Sparrow is the coolest character ever.

You ARE the coolest mom ever, no question there, but the Jack Sparrow poster puts the icing on the sugar cookie. That would be awesome…one day you can plunk down a couple hundred dollars and have your living room redone that way. But, if it were a movie theatre you would need a carpet with a really strange pattrn on it.
Yes, I’m digging the crazy carpet. By the way, the poster looks great above the computer and I’m open to more ideas for more posters, but it would have to be something we all agree on—you and I will agree on just about anything, but I don’t think we’re going to sneak a Harry Potter poster past Joey so easily. Although we could give it a try, eh?
Just get it, he’ll never even notice.
