Terry sent me this photo today in a text, saying a picture is worth a thousand words. I would say that smile is worth a thousand words! Who would have expected to see Mom smiling like that so soon after surgery?
It took me a little bit to figure out the technology on how to get this picture into my computer (okay. I admit: I asked Terry to email it to me, can’t seem to get my phone and my computer to talk to each other) but here it is!

Thank you girls for posting the picture of Dorothy. She would probably say she looks awful, but to me she looks wonderful. I felt like crying when I saw the picture of her. I was so worried about her going thru another operation soon after the first one and she told me how weak she felt just before she went into the hospital.I pray for her speedy recovery every day. Love to you all, Aunt Claire
It’s great seeing her feeling so good so soon after her operation. I hope she continues a quick recovery and doesn’t run into too many problems with water in her lungs again.
I also hope Dad doesn’t tire himself out too much. I know he get very worried and can’t do as much physically but may not want to admit it.

I am so delighted to see Dorothy’s smiling face. I am so glad that the operation went well and Lord willing she will be totally recovered and healed. I’m also glad this is a big relief for Jan. I know him well and I am sure he had a tough time going through this. Hopefully Dorothy will be home soon and feeling great with plenty of energy.
