Found this picture on Houzz. So far, it’s the closest look I’ve found for what I hope our kitchen will look like when it’s all done. The black and white is DEFINITELY happening. Still pondering the beige earth tones for floor and backsplash. Though they certainly look fine here! Love the under the cabinet lighting. That makes all the difference. Wonder if the red plaid curtain is perhaps a bit “too much.” But that sort of thing is a minor detail to be worked out in the end. Right now, we’re still waiting to hear back on when the new counters will be installed!

Hi, Barbara! Your comment comes at the perfect time, because I have indeed been thinking about getting back to this blog. And yes, during the Fall I HAVE been so busy at work, by the time I get home, I’m too tired to do everything I want to do, so I have to prioritize, and unfortunately, computer stuff goes on the bottom of that list. But we’re getting ready to go on our Christmas Break in a couple of days, and getting back to posting here is on my “To Do” list!
