SNOW DAY

We are forecast to get snow tomorrow. As a result of this forecast, the University is shutting down. All “non-essential personnel” have been instructed to NOT go to work tomorrow. Yippeee!

Tonight Russ and his dad figured out how to get the gas-log fireplace working. We haven’t used it before, but it’s going now—not exactly a roaring fire, but it is a fire, and it’s very warm and pretty.

Tomorrow, while I’m home for my “Snow Day” I plan to make a pea soup with the hambone left over from our New Year’s celebration. In the evening we will be watching the National Championship game. Goliath vs. Goliath. At the very least it is sure to be interesting, and at the very best, it could be spectacular!
