Every weekend,I check the on-screen TV “guide” to see what shows or movies might be on that I want to watch or record for later viewing. Today I see that the movie “Paulie” is going to be on a little later this afternoon. I remember taking the kids to see this, and what a cute movie it is. Now, I don’t think I will actually sit down and watch this movie again on my own, but a thought occurred to me…”For the grandchildren.”
Someday I may have grandchildren, and they may come to visit, and I might like to have a good selection of movies for them to watch! Maybe these movies will be something to keep them entertained and out of the grownups hair, or to help calm them down before bedtime, if they’re staying over. Or maybe I’ll sit down and watch with these old favorites with them. At any rate, I thought this cute movie Paulie should be in that collection.
That’s how I know I’m getting old: I’m beginning to make plans for when I have grandkids.
