Before we went on vacation Boogie was starting to have some trouble again with his belly, so we took him to the vet to get the shot that always seems to help him feel better.
In addition, the vet gave us a new thing to try: a probiotic powder to sprinkle on his food. It’s called “FortiFlora” and I do believe it’s starting to make a difference.
I don’t want to jinx anything, but since we’ve been back, there has been no pooping outside the box, and no constipation. (Lovely topic of conversation, right?) I think maybe we are moving in the right direction. I feel highly encouraged. Of course the real question is: how long will it work? how long will it last? Well, I guess I should just be happy that for the time being something seems to be working, making him feel more comfortable.
