Mom’s Surgery

Got a call from Terry today. She will be passing on information about Mom’s surgery, which I will post here, for all to see. This way, Dad doesn’t have to make a million phone calls. Well, I may exaggerate. Not a million, but he’ll tell Terry what’s going on, and she’ll tell me, and I’ll post it here, for anyone who is interested. So here is the first bit of information:

Mom is scheduled for surgery this coming Monday (December 5). She’s going to a hospital she likes, and the doctor is the one who did Dad’s surgery a while back, and that went well, so she feels good about his skills as a surgeon. I talked to her this morning, and she has a positive attitude about the whole thing. I’m sure she’s just looking forward to having this DONE. So Monday is good, not too far away.

I’ll post again when I know more. Stay tuned.

    Hi Christine,

This is Aunt Claire.I want to thank you and Terryfor posting your mom’s condition while she is in the hospital. I am a nervous wreck thinking about her. I know she will be all right but, I’m angry that she has to go thru this again. I’ll be checking your web site every day.Take care.

Hi, Aunt Claire! Yes, the plan is to post some news later today. As soon as I know something, I’ll post it here.

On the positive side, I would say that the last several times I’ve talked to my mom, her attitude about this surgery has been VERY good. I know she’s looking forward to feeling better. And I know she has a lot of confidence in the hospital and the doctor (the same one that did my dad’s recent surgery).

So today we’ll just wait and pray, and later I’ll post any news Terry passes on to me.

    Hi Chris,

I’ll keep an eye on your blog for updates to see how things are going. Mom and Dad left at 6am this morning. She was eager to get this valve thing fixed but was still nervous about the surgery, which is normal of course.

    Thanks for doing this! 🙂

    Take care,
    James.
