This morning we were out in the backyard hanging a load of laundry and got swooped and buzzed by a hummingbird! I put out the feeder a little over a week ago and have only seen one bird feeding so far, but apparently they are around, and at least one of them is quite interested in our laundry!
Also this morning, looked up in the sky and saw one of the Blue Angels! Actually, HEARD it first, then saw it. There’s going to be a show this weekend originating out of the Tuscaloosa Airport, and we’re close enough that any time something happens at the airport, we hear it and see it. Two years ago there was a show, and our driveway provided an excellent view. Only saw one plane this morning, but there will be lots this weekend. Looking forward to it. Just hope to avoid the sunburn, if possible.
