A pound gone, and mostly because I took it easy at dinner last night. I swear, I think I could eat anything during the day, and as long as I have a light dinner, I’ll lose weight.

My stomach is upset. The weekend is over. And now we begin a new week of serious weight loss efforts.

A good day yesterday, watching football, and eating a delicious pork roast dinner from the crockpot. Also, oreo pie. I make no apologies. But I do intend to get back on track.

Friday at least I went back to the gym, so that goes in the plus column.

I realized yesterday that I’m having a slight stomach upset. Hopefully it goes away today, and when it does, this bloated feeling every time after I eat. Anyway, it looks like I’m headed back in the right direction.

Well, I’m down since yesterday, but still have a long way to go to get back to where I was. And then a much longer way to go to get to where I want to be. But of course, you can’t get anywhere unless you make that first step.

Yesterday was my birthday. We went to Outback, and had a Bloomin’ Onion, and I got a free ice cream sundae. All night my stomach was grumbling. But that was a good thing, I think. Because it reminded me how much I really do have to get back on track.

This morning I think I am ready to once again do the right thing. I had a brief psychological lapse just after the wedding, leading up to my birthday. That was a time of celebration. Now is a time of getting back to real life. I feel inspired.

Today the weatherman is saying the temps will only go into the mid 80’s. Soon, the leaves will begin changing color. Autumn is here. Football is in full swing! Everything feels new and fresh, and this is a time for me also to start fresh.
